The New Mexico State baseball team plays one road game and three home-conference games this week as the 2015 season co
ntinues. The Aggies face No. 6 Arizona State, Tuesday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. (MT) in Tempe, Ariz. before facing Northern Colorado in Western Athletic Conference action at Presley Askew Field, Thursday-
Saturday, April 2-4.
Thursday and Friday’s games have a 6 p.m. (MT) first pitch while Sunday’s series finale versus the Bears begins at 12 p.m. (MT).
The New Mexico State softball team (27-11, 3-0 WAC) plays its first Western Athletic Conference road games this season as the Aggies travel to Seattle, Wash., to face Seattle U in a three-game series this week.
NM State meets the Redhawks in a doubleheader on Friday, Apr. 3, beginning at 5 p.m. (MDT) and then cap off the series with a single game on Saturday, Apr. 4, at 3 p.m. All three games can be heard live over Las Cruces radio on FOX Sports The Ticket AM 570 with Hall of Famer Jack Nixon on the call.
After going 3-0 in the opening Western Athletic Conference weekend, the New Mexico State men’s tennis team will head to Southern California for two dual-matches. The Aggies (7-11, 3-0 WAC) will face No. 66 UC Santa Barbara (7-7, 0-1 Big West) on Saturday, April 4 in Santa Barbara, Calif., and Loyola Marymount (9-8, 1-4 WCC) on Monday, April 6 in Los Angeles, Calif.
The start times for both dual-matches will be announced later in the week.
The New Mexico State women’s tennis team will look to get back on the winning track when they travel to Phoenix for the final two Western Athletic Conference dual-matches of the regular season. On Friday, April 3, the Aggies (10-8, 3-0 WAC) will face UT-Pan American (7-10, 1-1 WAC) at 5 p.m. (MT). Then the following day, Grand Canyon (8-6, 2-0 WAC) will play host to the Aggies at 11:30 a.m. (MT) for the regular season WAC finale.
The New Mexico State men’s golf team returns to action at the Aggie Invitational hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5. Rounds one and two will be played on Saturday with the final round played on Sunday. Recaps and results will be available online at www.NMStateSports.com.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD
After an impressive finish at the Texas State Bobcat University, the New Mexico State outdoor track and field team will make its way to Albuquerque, N.M. to compete in the University of New Mexico Don Kirby Tailwind on April 4.
