LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men’s and women’s tennis teams will be hosting a watch party on Tuesday at the NM State Tennis Center to watch the NCAA selection show that determines where each team will begin play in the NCAA Championships.

Both selection shows will air live on NCAA.com with the women’s show beginning at 3 p.m. immediately followed by the men’s show at 3:30 p.m.

Both teams won their first Western Athletic Conference Tournament this past weekend to advance to the NCAA Championships.  The men return to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2000 while the women will be making their first ever appearance in the tournament.

Each team will find out in which of the 16 regions they will be playing in.  There are a total of 64 teams in the tournament, with each region consisting of four teams.  The first two rounds will be played at the regional, May 8-10.

One team will come out of each region and those 16 teams will compete for the NCAA Championship in Waco, Texas, from May 14-19.

Fans are encouraged to come out and spend an afternoon with the WAC champions and find out where they will be playing next.
