LAS CRUCES, N.M. –The New Mexico State Athletic Department wants to visit with Aggie fans across the state as the Aggie Caravan makes its final two stops for 2015.
The Caravan is in Albuquerque on Wednesday, May 20 and in Artesia on Thursday, May 21.
The Aggie Caravan will allow fans and supporters to visit with NM State coaches and administrators, get a review of the past season, an update of current happenings and a preview of what to expect from the Aggies during the 2015-16 seasons.
“We had great visits in our previous stops on the Caravan and we’re looking forward to meeting with more of our great Aggie fans,” said NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia. “We are excited about bringing the Aggies around the state.”
The stop for the free event on Wednesday, May 20, is at the Nativo Lodge in Albuquerque (6000 Pan American NE), with the final stop on Thursday, May 21, at the Artesia Country Club in Artesia (2703 W. Richey Ave.).
Both events will begin with a reception at 5 p.m., followed by the program beginning at 6 p.m.
The both Aggie Caravan stops feature head football coach Doug Martin, WAC Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year Marvin Menzies, 2013 WAC Volleyball Coach of the Year Mike Jordan and Women’s Basketball associate head coach Tamara Inohe, along with Moccia and other Aggie coaches and administrators.
The festivities will be emceed by Aggie Hall of Fame announcer Jack Nixon.
